Hello!
And Welcome.
Where are you from?
Depending on where you are i am sure that people will be able to help - like Insurance in America or Medical Cards in Ireland.........
Treatment in Ireland is not great, but is subsidied by the government so the max you will pay for any treatement, PUVA to Steriods is about $60 a month.
IN the US i believe its different. Health insurance??? I dont know.
so let us know where you are from...........
Now, there are stuff you can get - moisturizers etc that may help -Tanning and diet changes.............
Please let us know what you do at the moment and maybe we can help...................
Good Luck
:)

I suppose this is a stupid question but have you got insurance?
I think you need some strong stuff............
if you cant get any, have you tried tanning?
its works very well

Hello,
Welcome to the Board! I'm sorry that you're going through such a rough time. :( The good news is that you've come to the right place. A lot of very nice and helpful people post here.
There's a site called www.needymeds.com that some people who post here have used to find programs that provide free meds for their psoriasis and other medical problems. Here's a link to two posts that discuss it: Clink on this link first: http://www.psoriasis.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=3864&highlight=needymeds. Here's a progress report: http://www.psoriasis.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=3979&highlight=needymeds. You'll probably have to provide a lot of personal and financial information, but it might be a way to get help. Don't turn yourself down. You don't have anything to lose.
Hope this helps.
Good luck. Please keep us posted and please don't be a stranger.
Mike

There are many clinical studies going on right now. Some cover time and travel cost. I'm in the eight week of blind study for avandia. Started study 60 to 70% covered, down to 15% no itching no flacking skin turning light pink and feeling good. Might be something to look into. Good luck

on the tanning, from my expierence on puva, tanning usually won't work unless the skin in moist as possible ie.. baby oil.
hope things work out for you. dont give up !!!
