The National Psoriasis Walk for Awareness is a nationwide program designed to generate awareness about psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and raise money for National Psoriasis Foundation education, advocacy and research programs.
The Portland walk will be held at Wallace Park, at NW 25th Avenue and Raleigh Street. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the 1K and 5K walks begin at 9:30 a.m.
Join or start a team, make a donation or volunteer the day of the event! Team captains gather friends, family members, and co-workers to participate in the walk. Each participant is asked to raise donations from their friends and family, with a suggested fund-raising goal of $100.
The fun and festive event will feature a live band, goody bags, great prizes and refreshments. We invite you to bring a blanket or chairs and a picnic lunch and enjoy entertainment after the walk.
We're giving away an all-inclusive, week-long vacation for two at the Blue Lagoon Spa in Iceland! Simply raise $500 as a participant to be entered in the post- walk drawing. The trip will be given away after the walk. If you can’t make the walk, you can still enter—just register and start raising money.
